Freedom HD Eye Foils Review

As I’m a big fan of Makeup revolution I decided to try their sister brand freedom makeup, freedom, I was so excited to try an affordable brand. They recently came out with the freedom HD eye foils. Which I couldn’t wait to try, as I really love foiled eyeshadows, like makeup geek which are super pigmented, high shine and very foiled.

The description given about the Eye Foils:
”We have chosen the must have cult favourite warm toned shades in a mix of matte and shimmer for this 5 eyeshadow set – designed for our #ProArtist magnetic palettes. Highly pigmented and easy to blend stunning shadows.”

The Freedom HD Eye Foils are available from tam beauty and Superdrug and they contain 5 1.2g eyeshadow pans, and there are 6 sets available. I purchased 5 of the 6 sets, which are Metallics 1, Metallics 2, Burnt, Bare, Bright and Matte Bare (which I don’t have). The packaging is just generic black square cardboard box and inside is a square black flimsy plastic tray holding the 5 eyeshadow pans.

Over all I think that most of the eyeshadows are pigmented, but also you need to be build them up to get the best out of them. I definitely don’t think they are HD, which is a bit misleading. Having said that  they are an absolute bargin for £5, you get 5 shadows, which works out to be £1 per eyeshadow which is amazing value. They blend very well together too and have great colour pay off when built up, or when wet.

What are your thoughts on the Feeedom HD Eye Foils….?
