The Body shop Himalayan charcoal glow mask claims to absorb excess oil, refine and revive your skin, for skin that needs extra purification to reveal healthy youthful glow, draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy looking skin with a glow that shows.The mask is packed with bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan foothills, greantea leaves from Japan and organic community trade tea tree oil from Kenya.
The mask comes in a simple black cardboard box, the jar has tinted brown coloured glass with a black screw top cover.it’s strong and surprisingly a little heavy too. The mask is grey in colour, has a thick mud texture with medium sized chunks of charcoal inside.

I am very much into natural products which are made from natural plant extracts, organic and vegan.I have super sensitive skin and an oily t zone. I currently use this twice a week, but in the winter I would only use it once a week as recommended. I did a patch test first. I have been using this mask for a month plus now and this is by far one of the best masks on the market right now, in my opinion. From the minute the purifying glow mask touches your skin you feel it lol, hard to explain. When i put the mask on my face it stung my eyes a little, i got past that pretty quickly though. As the mask starts to dry, i felt it tighten on my skin, i literally could not even smile! It becomes quite hard once it has fully dried, Then when I rinsed off the mask, the pieces of charcoal help to exfoliate the skin. One the mask is washed off, my skin felt a cool, calm, smoother and firmer.

My skin was amazingly soft, smooth and deep clean fresh. I really felt as though the mask got deep in to my pores, and purified my skin. And I had this tingling sensation afterwards and my skin felt pampered for days after using the mask. I always feel like I’m having ‘me time’ whenever I use it, I get in my zone and feel relaxed too, it’s my mini facial at home.

Overall it’s an incredible product, a decent size,( you get 75ml) you get quite a bit of product and it does exactly what it says, reveals healthy skin, refines the appearance of pores, draws out impurities, maintains ph balance for the skin, and more, plus it’s a fair price too,(£16) so it value for money and is 100 per centvegan too.
